LCM where for two years, she was the Varsity Head Softball Coach & her

| Mrs. Custer teaches Spanish to 7th and 8th graders as well as 7th grade art. This is her 10th year with the district, all at PNMS. She received her B. In her 34th year as a teacher, Marlene Portier is in
her 6th year at Port Neches Middle after 3 years at Woodcrest Elementary. She previously
spent 5 years at Port Neches Elementary. She received her B.A. and M.Ed.
in Elementary Education from McNeese State University. Mrs. Portier
received her Technology Applications Certification from the University of
North Texas. She is the Intel
"Teach to the Future" Master Teacher for PNGISD and the campus
technology specialist. Mrs. Portier co-sponsors the PNMS Robotics Team.
