Donna Anthony--Texas History 7
Ms. Anthony has been with PNGISD for 19 of her 28 years as a teacher. Previously she spent 3 years at Vidor High School, 5 years at Lumberton High School, 1 year at Lincoln High School, and served as a graduate assistant at Lamar University for 1 year. She holds a B.S. Ed. from Stephen F. Austin State University and an M.Ed. from Lamar.  Contact 

Kaye Barnard--Language Arts 7
Mrs. Barnard has been at PNMS teaching 7th grade English for 26 years. She sponsors UIL Poetry and previously sponsored student council. She has a B.A. in English and History from Lamar University and a M.Ed. in Supervision, also from Lamar. Contact

Samara Bean-Science 6 & 7
Mrs. Bean begins her first year at PNMS, coming to the district from LCM where for two years, she was the Varsity Head Softball Coach & her team earned the 2006 4A State Championship. Prior to that position, Mrs. Bean was at Hardin Jefferson High School for two years, holding the position of Head Volleyball coach and Asst. Basketball coach. Her B.S. in Kinesiology is from Lamar University in Beaumont.

Kelsey Crippen--Librarian
Mrs. Crippen has 17 years of experience in education, 10 at PNMS. She taught with the Port Arthur ISD before coming to PNGISD. She holds a B.S. from Lamar University and a master's degree from McNeese State University as well as library certification from Sam Houston State University. Marina Custer--Spanish 7 & 8; Art 7
Mrs. Custer teaches Spanish to 7th and 8th graders as well as 7th grade art. This is her 10th year with the district, all at PNMS. She received her B. A. from Hofstra University  and an M.A. from the University of the Americas. She has also studied at Lamar University and at the University of Madrid. She has taught at a  private schools, junior high, and high school. Her profession has also taken her to Canada and Africa. Contact  Web Page

Tanya Davis--Math 7
Mrs. Davis has been teaching for 11 years, all at PNMS. She has a B.A.A.S. from Lamar University and an M.S. in Educational Leadership, also from Lamar University. Contact 

Monica Deese--American History 8; Reading
Mrs. Deese began her teaching career in Krotz Springs, Louisiana, teaching 2nd, 3rd, and 8th grade reading for 3 years. She has been at PNMS 17 years and teaches 8th grade American history and reading. She also sponsors UIL group acting. Her degree in Special Education/Elementary Education is from Lamar University. Sondra Dixon--Reading & Math Resource; ESL; 504 Coordinator
Although this is Mrs. Dixon's 8th year at PNMS, she has been with PNGISD for 28 years. She holds degrees from Lamar University in both Elementary Education and Special Education with certification in ESL and a specialization in Reading. Jodie Dunn-Science 7
Ms. Dunn joins the PNMS faculty as a full time teacher after having served our campus for 10 years as a long-term substitute. She has 24 years of experience in education. She holds a B.S. from Baylor University and a Masters degree in Supervision as well as certification in Counseling from Lamar University. Contact

Mickie Emmett--Social Studies 6; Texas History 7
Mrs. Emmett has taught at PNMS for 32 years. She spent 2 years on a teaching fellowship at Lamar University. She holds both a B.S. and a M.S. from Lamar. Contact  

Cynthia Gale--Special Education: Reading & Science
Mrs. Gale has been teaching 13 years, 12 with PNGISD, 11 years at PNMS. She has a B.S. in Elementary Education from Lamar University with Special Education certification.

Roy Gaspard--Science 7 & 8; Physical Education & Coach
Roy Gaspard returned to PNMS in 2001 after a two-year assignment at PN-G High School. He teaches 7th & 8th grade science and coaches boys' athletics. Coach Gaspard has 28 years in education, beginning his 12th  year with the district.    Contact  Web Page

Mark Gassen-Physical Education & Coach
A 1993 graduate of PN-G High School, Coach Gassen begins his second year of teaching with our campus. He is a graduate of Lamar University with a BS in Kinesiology. In addition, he holds certification for math grades 4-8.    Contact

Kacy Havard-Language Arts 7; Reading 6, 7, & 8
Mrs. Havard comes to PNMS this year from Port Arthur ISD, where she taught at Stephen F. Austin for 3 years. She has a BBA in Human Resource Management from Lamar University in Beaumont and is certified through the ACE Program from Lamar at Orange.

Mr. Huerta is beginning his 4th year at PNMS as an industrial technology teacher. His BBA is from Baylor University. He received certification through Lamar State College-Orange. He co-sponsors First Priority.

Mr. LeBlanc has been the band director at PNMS for 23 years. He taught band in Lumberton and Crosby before coming to PNGISD. He has a Bachelor of Music Education from Lamar University.     Contact  Web Page

Diane Leckich--Language Arts 8 & Creative Communications
Mrs. Leckich has been teaching 16 years and this is her 9th year at PNMS. Prior to coming to PNMS, she taught English and Business for 7 years and was K-12 principal 3 years, all at Sabine Pass ISD. She has a B. S. from the University of Southern Mississippi and a M.Ed. in Educational Leadership from Lamar University.

Mrs. Lemoine joined the PNMS faculty in 2000 after 13 years at Port Neches Elementary where she taught 4th grade. She is a PN-G graduate with a B.S. in Elementary Education from Lamar University in Beaumont. Her specialization is in math.

Cathy Mendoza--Physical Education & Coach
Ms. Mendoza has spent 21 of her 29 years as a teacher/coach at PNMS. Prior to her tenure at PNMS, she taught at Lumberton High School. She coaches 8th grade volleyball and 7th grade basketball. Donna Nelson--Math  7 & 8
Ms. Nelson has been a teacher 31 years, 26 of those with PNGISD. She has taught math at PNMS for 16 years. Her previous experience includes 10 years with BISD. She has a B.S. in Home Economics and Math from Baylor University.

Marlene Portier-Campus Technology Specialist
In her 34th year as a teacher, Marlene Portier is in her 6th year at  Port Neches Middle after 3 years at Woodcrest Elementary. She previously spent 5 years at Port Neches Elementary. She received her B.A. and M.Ed. in Elementary Education from McNeese State University. Mrs. Portier received her Technology Applications Certification from the University of North Texas. She is the Intel "Teach to the Future" Master Teacher for PNGISD and the campus technology specialist. Mrs. Portier co-sponsors the PNMS Robotics Team.

Jamie Perkins-Language Arts 8 & Theater Arts
Having taught last year in Hamshire Fannett, Mrs. Perkins begins her first year on our campus. Prior to that position with Hamshire Fannett, she worked 8 years in Human Resources. Mrs. Perkins holds a BBA in Human Resources from Lamar University.

Lisa Roedahl begins her 6th year of teaching, all of which have been here at PNMS. She is a PN-G and Lamar University graduate. She has a B.S. in Generic Special Education with an additional elementary education certification. She sponsors First Priority and Student Council.  Contact   

Sandra Rogers--Life Management; Physical Education & Coach
Sandy Rogers has been at PNMS for 14 years of her 19 years with PNGISD.  She has taught for a total of 31 years, with assignments as far away as Kentucky. Her B.S. in Health and Physical Education with History certification is from Lamar University. Her M.S. in Physical Education is from Morehead State University. She coaches 7th grade girls volleyball and 7th and 8th grade track.

Karen Rohrbaugh--American History 8; Language Arts 6
Mrs. Rohrbaugh is in her 16th year at PNMS after teaching 1 year at Central Middle School in Nederland. She teachers 8th grade American history and 6th grade language arts. She has a B.A. in History and English from Lamar University. Contact  

Kevin Schexnaider-Boys Athletics & Head Coach
Coach Schexnaider came to PNMS last school term in March. This is his eighth year in education. Previous experience includes coaching and teaching history from 1999-2000 at Hamshire-Fannett and at Groves Middle School from 2000-2006. Coach received his B.S. in Kinesiology from Lamar University. Michael Sigur--Industrial Technology II
Mr. Sigur came to PNMS in 2004 from Port Arthur ISD, where he taught science and shop for two years. Prior to that he taught social studies, crafts, and shop in Nederland ISD for 14 years, followed by a 2-year assignment as principal at St. Catherine School. His B.S. degree is in Industrial Arts Education form USL in Lafayette. His M.Ed. in mid-management was earned at Lamar University.   Contact   Web Page

Vanessa Spiegel-- Math 6
Mrs. Spiegel has been teaching 29 years, 28 at PNMS. She also has teaching experience at Lamar University, where she received both a B.S. in Education and an M.S. in Math .

Crystal Storms--Math  6 & 8; Algebra
Mrs. Storms came to PNMS in 2003 from Oak Park Middle School in Lake Charles, where she taught mathematics for three years. Prior to that, she taught math at Crowley Middle School. She holds a B.S. from McNeese in Agribusiness and has mathematics certification. She sponsors UIL Spelling and National Junior Honor Society.    Contact   Web Page

Denise Thigpen--Girls Athletics & Coach
Mrs. Thigpen has been teaching 27 years, 23 with PNGISD. She has been at PNMS 12 years. She is returning to coaching this year after being a 6th grade social studies teacher. She will coach basketball and track. Her B.S. in Secondary and Elementary Education is from Lamar University.

Chasity Viator-Social Studies & Keyboarding-6
Mrs. Viator is beginning her first year at PNMS. She previously taught 8th grade English at Central Middle School in Nederland for one year. Mrs. Viator has a B. S. from Lamar University and is certified to teach 4-8 Social Studies, Reading, English, and Language Arts.

Jill Weisbrod--Reading & Language Arts-6
Mrs. Weisbrod  is in her second year after having served our campus previously as the FEMA clerical and restoration representative. Prior to that Ms. Cessna taught 7th grade Texas History at Woodrow Wilson Middle School in Port Arthur and substituted for two years. She received her B.S. in General Business Management in 1990 from East Texas Baptist and her Reading & Language Arts certification for grades 4-8 in 2006 from Lamar University.    Contact   

Crystal Wells-Choir Director
Mrs. Wells comes to our campus from Groves Middle School. This is her second year in the district, having been in education for 5 years.  She previously did contract work, teaching vocal and percussion classes for Goose Creek ISD. Mrs. Wells finished her vocal degree at Lamar University and continues to be an active performer with the Symphony of Southeast Texas Chorus and the Beaumont Interfaith Choral Society.  Contact     Web Page

Becky Wilson--Language Arts 6; Creative Communications
Mrs. Wilson has spent the entire 34 years of her teaching career at PNMS. She has a B.A. in English and History from Lamar University. She sponsors UIL Ready Writing and the school yearbook and magazine.  Contact  

Donna Windhorst--Special Education: Self-Management Unit 6-8
Mrs. Windhorst has 22 years experience as a teacher, 14 with PNGISD at PNMS. She taught in PAISD 8 years. Graduating Cum Laude from Lamar University, she received a B.S. in Education with specialization in Math and certification in EC/EC and LLD. She also attended the University of St. Thomas in Houston. Outside the teaching profession, she has experience with South Central Bell Telephone as an outside plant engineer, data processor and programmer, and supervisor of atlas plats and draftingContact
