Group Responsibilities

  • Select a stock to monitor and collect data for a two-week period.

  • Divide web report responsibilities among group members:

  • Research your topic and build a graphic file for use in the group web report.

  • Web Report Requirements

  • Entire Group

    • Select a theme for your web report

    • Build a graphic file for all to use

    • Follow directions of your teacher as you design your page.

  • Home Page

    • Use Word Art in the page title.

    • Include your reports inside a table.

    • Content area should present interesting information you and your team learned as numismatists.

    • Put a navigation bar at the bottom of your page that gives links to the other pages in your group web.

  • Money Page

    • Use Word Art in the page title.

    • Include your reports inside a table.

    • Content area should present your money topic report: paper currency, coins, U.S. Mint, U. S. Treasury

    • Put a navigation bar at the bottom of your page that gives links to the other pages in your group web.

  • Stock Market Page

    • Use Word Art in the page title.

    • Include your reports inside a table.

    • Content area should present information about the stock your group monitored:

      • Report results of your investment

      • Include a graphic logo of the monitored stock

      • Insert a chart showing the progress of the stock

      • Create a company profile to provide information about the company

    • Put a navigation bar at the bottom of your page that gives links to the other pages in your group web.

  • General Guidelines for All Pages

    • Agree on a common theme and use it throughout the group web.

    • Provide  answers to the following basic research queries:

      • Who?

      • What?

      • Where?

      • When?

      • Historical significance?

      • Economical impact?

      •  

    • Edit your final report for the following:

      • Creativity in layout design

      • Appealing in design and easy to read

      • Correctness in grammar and spelling

       

  • Save your report and print a copy.

  • Project is due April 11, 2003.
