Task

Your job is the explore the country of your heritage choice and choose a holiday to research as well as find facts about the country itself. During this exploration you will record your findings and cite sources of information.

 

Process

  • Inquire with family members about your heritage/ethnicity.
  • Choose one of your ethnic backgrounds to explore.
  • Choose a holiday that is celebrated prominently by people of whatever heritage you have chosen.
  • Research the holiday and country of origin, recording your findings on the research sheet. Use the sources listed below. Document and cite all sources you use using the MLA format. This includes pictures, maps, and information.
  • Develop a PowerPoint presentation from the information you have gathered. Be creative with titles and proof-read for correct sentence construction; then do a spell-check for grammatical and spelling errors.
  • Click the template you need    Periods 1, 2, 3       Periods 4, 8
  • When you are finished, ask for permission to print.

Conclusion
